Abstract

The societal innovation must provide concrete solutions to the territories who claim it. Management in land use can be regarded as a tool for social innovation? We can highlight three factors that comprise a project process, inclusive and cumulative for the creative district 22 @ Barcelona Poblenou. (1) The land management can only come from a strong player for a double negotiation upstream to find a compromise between private and public agents on the coefficient of land to apply for an equity research territorial. (2) A social innovation is not the ex-nihilo; it is part of an urban history including the consideration of a heritage and industrial heritage is essential to maintain social cohesion and justify the work, changing the urban landscape. (3) The societal innovation invariably part of economic cycles in crises consubstantial with the creation of new market and the linking land management + cluster + housing becoming a major risk in case of tension on mortgage markets such as Spain now.
