Abstract

L'effondrement du Rana Plaza survenu au Bangladesh en 2013 est fréquemment rappelé pour donner la mesure des enjeux de transformation du secteur de la mode. Le drame, qui a coûté la vie à plus de 1 100 ouvriers du textile, a mis au jour des formes extrêmes de production. Il a choqué non seulement l'opinion publique mais aussi les acteurs académiques et professionnels du secteur. Presque dix ans plus tard, de nombreux débats demeurent, mais un mouvement est en marche pour une autre mode. Ce chapitre propose de se concentrer sur la question de l'évolution de la formation, en écho à l'évolution des métiers et pratiques pour une mode plus responsable. De nombreuses initiatives ont été mises en place dans l'enseignement supérieur. Nous partageons ici celle du master « Mode et Matière » de l'École nationale de mode et matière (ENAMOMA/université PSL), au sein duquel deux des auteures de ce chapitre sont impliquées en tant que responsables pédagogiques.
