Abstract

L'article se propose d'explorer les déterminants du désinvestissement dans les PME selon une perspective institutionnelle. En nous fondant sur une distinction entre désinvestissements en personnel et en actifs, nous posons l'hypothèse que les normes et pratiques sectorielles influencent le choix de désinvestissement de l'entreprise mais que cette influence est davantage marquée pour les désinvestissements en personnel. Nous étudions alors empiriquement les décisions de désinvestissement d'un échantillon d'entreprises de l'ancienne région Rhône-Alpes sur la période 2005-2014. Les résultats confirment l'essentiel de nos hypothèses, que nous commentons au regard de la littérature antérieure.
