Abstract

La participation citoyenne à l'élaboration des projets locaux est devenue l'enjeu de l'adaptation de la ville aux évolutions sociétales, partagé par l'ensemble des collectivités territoriales. Dans cette ville, l'enfant représente une typologie d'habitants à part entière : curieux et aventurier, il entretient avec elle une relation à la fois esthétique et fonctionnelle. Seulement, malgré sa perception et ses attentes spécifiques, l'enfant est souvent le premier oublié des démarches participatives. Rédigé à partir du vécu et des représentations d'une jeune auteure, cet ouvrage s'appuie sur les expériences professionnelles territoriales et les recherches scientifiques de son père en pédagogie urbaine. Cet Essentiel propose des clés d'analyse et des propositions concrètes pour comprendre la place de l'enfant en ville, et l'associer à l'élaboration des politiques et des projets locaux impactant son cadre de vie.
