Meurtre du père et naissance des organisations : une relecture du récit freudien de la "horde primitive"

Abstract

Le meurtre est au cœur de la dynamique des organisations, en ce qu'elles ont besoin de s'affranchir des subjectivités qui pourtant les constituent et les font vivre. Le fondateur d'une organisation est le premier visé et vit le processus comme une cannibalisation, évoquant directement le récit freudien de la "horde primitive". L'article propose une relecture de ce récit du point de vue d'une anthropologie cognitive, visant à en dégager la cohérence interne. Les faiblesses de l'hypothèse de Freud soulignées par les anthropologues n'empêchent pas que le modèle conserve une pertinence pour l'analyse des premières étapes de la vie d'une entreprise.
