Abstract

From the first world's fair in Paris in 1855, through the advent of leisure and luxury as a way of life, an architecture, a space and an art of living emerged, particularly in luxury hotels - palaces in France, they accompany each other by evolution and adaptation throughout the 20th century and by profound changes and transformations at the start of the 21st century. Between memory, place of tourism, innovation and new uses, an identity is forged and represents an undeniable marketing asset for the "brand" France.
