Abstract

This editorial presents the dynamics of fluctuations in digital assets and the factors influencing these dynamics. It deciphers the causes of the setbacks affecting this type of capitalisation through the bankruptcy of FTX . The market mechanisms affecting the price of stable digital currencies are analysed, in particular their correlation with the traditional financial markets. The text warns against financial fraud mechanisms and outlines the prospects for regulating the sector through a European legislative package and a digital currency.
