Abstract

Existe-t-il des solutions pour les éleveurs cherchant à sortir d'une crise agricole qui ne finit pas de durer ? Dans un secteur de l'élevage laitier en impasse, il est fréquent d'évoquer la disparition de milliers d'exploitations chaque année, la détresse des éleveurs, leurs revenus inférieurs au smic. Comme il est également courant d'évoquer leurs actions coup de poing vis à vis des transformateurs ou des acteurs de la grande distribution. Dans ce cas, nous proposons un tout autre regard sur le monde agricole en mettant en lumière deux innovations de Business Models portées par des entrepreneurs cherchant à créer davantage de valeur et à mieux la capter. La première innovation concerne le cas emblématique de la « ferme des 1000 vaches" et la seconde est portée par un collectif d'éleveurs de l'ouest de la France, ayant eu l'idée de construire leur propre laiterie et de commercialiser leur lait.
