Libération d’entreprises et pratiques managériales : quelle(s) temporalité(s) d’adoption ?

Abstract

Cette recherche a pour objectif de déterminer la ou les temporalités d'adoption des pratiques managériales de l'entreprise libérée. L'entreprise libérée étant assimilée par plusieurs auteurs à une innovation managériale, nous mobilisons un cadre conceptuel issu des littératures sur l'entreprise libérée et sur l'innovation managériale. Celles-ci enrichissent l'analyse grâce à une lecture processuelle de l'adoption. Sur la base d'une étude qualitative, deux cas de libération d'entreprises sont analysés au regard de leurs pratiques managériales et selon trois phases (Damanpour, 1991) : Initiation et décision, Implémentation ou mise en usage et Routinisation ou poursuite de l'usage. Les résultats montrent, d'une part, qu'il existe deux trajectoires de libération, par basculement ou par expérimentation qui contraignent la suite du processus d'adoption de l'entreprise libérée. D'autre part, nous avons identifié trois grappes de pratiques managériales, communes aux deux trajectoires de libération en termes de contenu (i.e. grappe d'autonomisation, grappe d'accompagnement des salariés et grappe d'amélioration de la communication) et de temporalité d'adoption.
