Abstract

La médecine nucléaire, spécialité médicale d'imagerie basée sur l'administration de médicaments radiopharmaceutiques principalement à des fins diagnostiques, a connu un essor important en raison de développements technologiques comme celui de l'imagerie hybride et de l'introduction de nouveaux radiopharmaceutiques. Dans les années 2000, elle a bénéficié du développement de la caméra TEP couplée à un scanner (TDM) permettant de combiner à la fois une imagerie fonctionnelle (médecine nucléaire) à une imagerie morphologique (radiologie). Cette innovation a des répercussions sur la pratique médicale des médecins nucléaires. Cette recherche vise ainsi à analyser comment cette technologie d'imagerie hybride s'intègre dans les pratiques des professionnels de santé. Plus précisément, elle a pour objectif de caractériser les dynamiques d'appropriation. Sur la base d'une méthodologie qualitative fondée, à ce jour (étude en cours), sur vingt-quatre entretiens, principalement de médecins nucléaires, nos résultats soulignent que la diffusion de la TEP-TDM se caractérise d'une part par une hétérogénéité des pratiques et un processus d'évolution de celles-ci endogène et marqué par des logiques locales ; d'autre part, une hybridation limitée des pratiques.
