MedSpe, une enquête sur l’orientation des étudiants en médecine

Abstract

Le projet ANR JCJC MedSpé (2022-2025), porté par Magali Dumontet, questionne le choix de localisation et de spécialité des médecins français. Un des axes de ce projet est de comprendre les arbitrages effectués par les étudiants de médecine lors du choix du poste d'interne. En effet, au terme de leur sixième année, ils sont amenés à choisir un internat, c'est à dire une spécialité médicale et une localisation. Au terme de leur études, ils seront libre de s'installer où ils le souhaitent mais devront conserver leur spécialité. Dans cette optique, une enquête par questionnaire a été mise en place en Mars 2022 à destination de l'ensemble des étudiants de sixième année de médecine et a récoltée plus de 3000 réponses. Cette présentation vise à présenter les enjeux liés à la passation de ce questionnaire. Nous présentons d'abord le projet MedSpé ainsi que la procédure amenant les étudiants à choisir un poste d'interne et le le contenu du questionnaire. Nous détaillons ensuite les aspects techniques de la mise en place de l'enquête ainsi que les difficultés auxquelles nous avons été confrontés lors de la construction de la base de sondage, du codage, de la mise en ligne, mais également de la communication auprès des enquêtés. Nous abordons également les retours des enquêtés concernant leur réception de l'enquête, afin d'identifier des pistes d'améliorations. Enfin, nous présentons quelques résultats.
