Abstract

Dans cet article, nous associons à l'approche classique des cartels en termes d'économie du crime une approche en termes de "gouvernement d'entreprise". Cela nous conduit à étudier les motivations d'un manager à s'engager ou à rester dans un cartel, en y intégrant des facteurs comportementaux et psychologiques. Les implications pour les entreprises et les politiques publiques d'une telle analyse sont fortes. Il s'agit notamment d'évaluer si et comment l'incitation des managers à s'engager dans un cartel justifie l'adoption de mesures spécifiques au niveau de l'entreprise et des pouvoirs publics. Nous étudions ainsi le rôle des dispositifs internes à l'entreprise et des politiques publiques (entendues au sens large) dans la prévention de ces pratiques illicites.
