Abstract

Business intelligence is a crucial tool for the development of a company's information system and its competitiveness in the market. Although this field has evolved considerably since the 1980s, some observers continue to perceive its practices as unethical, even going so far as to describe them as espionage. The purpose of our paper is to provide an analysis of the literature review that deals with the subject in order to understand the stakes of this rapprochement and to present practical cases that could serve as a reference in terms of deontological ethics that will be intended for economic intelligence professionals.
