Abstract

The paper analyzes the failure of the 1,000-cows farm using the concept of institutional work of destabilization. It shows how activists have destabilized this firm considered by its critics as the symbol of industrial agriculture. It proposes a typology of works and shows that it is necessary to understand the context of the case to take full measure of the institutional work carried out.
