Abstract

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is an emerging technology that has been applied in several sectors of the economy such as industry, healthcare and finance. Today, it represents an opportunity for actors in the insurance sector who are considering how to evaluate the benefits of this technology in the medium term, taking into account their specific context. In this article, we will first present a summary of academic work on the contributions of RPA for companies and the stakes of its implementation. The case of Allianz France's Flow Department is then presented, showing how this organization approaches the issue of assessing the potential benefits of RPA solutions for improving documentary management. We will present the theoretical contributions of the case as well as our experience feedback on its animation. Finally, we will discuss other issues that could also be addressed with this case.
