Abstract

En insistant sur le rôle de la transparence et de la crédibilité de la politique monétaire en tant que critère de performance qui motivent tout pays désirant adopter un régime de ciblage d'inflation, cette étude aboutit au fait que ces deux principes de base auquel tend un régime de ciblage d'inflation ne peuvent être réalisés sans le respect de certaines préalables à savoir les conditions institutionnelles et techniques. L'analyse des mécanismes de fonctionnement du régime de ciblage d'inflation a permis par la suite d'étudier les expériences d'un échantillon de pays émergents en la matière et de s'attarder sur les premiers constats et enseignements à tirer de la mise en application d'un ancrage par l'inflation.
