Abstract

La question de l'appropriation est au coeur de nombreuses réflexions académiques (DeSanctis & Poole, 1994 ; De Vaujany, 2006 ; Stenger & Coutant, 2015). Ces recherches focalisent principalement sur l'appropriation d'un nombre restreint d'instruments par une population d'utilisateurs. La communication propose de porter un regard original sur l'appropriation d'un ensemble de vingt-six instruments digitaux par des managers de production. Notre recherche exploratoire vise à répondre à la problématique suivante : comment les managers intermédiaires s'approprient-ils l'instrumentation digitale dans leur activité managériale dans un contexte industriel ? Sur la base d'une recherche-action menée au sein de deux usines de réparation de train d'un grand groupe ferroviaire et en faisant appel à la typologie de l'appropriation proposée par A. Grimand (Grimand, 2012), notre travail caractérise le processus dynamique d'appropriation de trois types d'instrumentation digitale (locale, choisie sur catalogue et imposée par le central) sur le plan individuel, collectif et organisationnel.
