Abstract

Support d'un tissu économique actif, les treize îles du Ponant (façade Manche et Atlantique) sont reliées quotidiennement au continent par un système de transport maritime. La desserte insulaire remplit une double fonction essentielle pour ces territoires : assurer la continuité territoriale et favoriser la fréquentation touristique. La thèse porte sur l'organisation de la desserte et ses conséquences sur l'entreprise insulaire. Il s'agit d'étudier le niveau d'adaptation à la fois du système de desserte aux activités économiques des îles, et des entreprises insulaires au fonctionnement de la desserte. Comment l'entreprise intègre-t-elle la contrainte géographique pour mener une activité économique ?
