Abstract

Cet article questionne la contribution potentielle de la fiction en tant que stratégie de recherche légitime en gestion. Nous nous appuyons sur l'œuvre du célèbre romancier Italien Italo Calvino pour éclairer la façon dont l'on pourrait repenser la « fabrique » de la recherche en gestion. En particulier, nous nous appuyons sur Leçons américaines, recueil de conférences que Calvino aurait du donner à Harvard et qui définit les valeurs fondant l'essence même de la littérature : Légèreté, Exactitude, Visibilité, Multiplicité. Chacune de ces valeurs nous aide à situer la contribution potentielle de la fiction à la recherche en gestion.
