Abstract

Cet ouvrage propose d'appréhender le nucléaire non pas seulement au travers des controverses qu'il suscite mais comme un fait social qui s'incarne dans des activités, des organisations, des territoires et des mots. Ce détour par différentes formes d'enquêtes vise à ouvrir la voie à une conception renouvelée au débat public sur le nucléaire. En s'inscrivant dans la banalité des phénomènes associés au nucléaire, et non pas seulement dans les moments de crise, l'ouvrage met en perspective le rapport entre une technologie et les contextes dans lesquelles elle s'inscrit. Les objets de recherche et ces dispositifs d'investigation couvrent ainsi cinq grandes thématiques : la dimension sociohistorique du nucléaire, l'action collective, les organisations distribuées, les territoires et les mots du nucléaire.
