Abstract

La réforme des réductions de peine portée par le Ministre de la Justice Éric Dupond-Moretti rassemble largement contre elle. Malgré un objectif louable, celui de renforcer les incitations des détenus à faire des efforts en vue de leur réinsertion, la réforme pourrait en réalité avoir des effets contraires. Elle entraînera également d'autres désagréments, comme un accroissement des disparités entre condamnés et une probable augmentation de la population carcérale.
