Abstract

Circular economy as an alternative the response to the challenges of food: case analysis for the state of Chile - This article aims to identify a problem in current systems of production, processing, marketing and distribution of food, which is currently; not necessarily respond to the principles of security, food sovereignty and the right to food as a whole. Circular economy: therefore, an alternative approach to linear production systems is presented. The latter is described as a proposal in line with international agreements and the agenda for the Sustainable Development Goals 2030, signed by Chile. Finally, the situation of the Free Trade comes in Chile, as a case study for implementation of a sustainable production system.
