Abstract

This article deals the interaction between industrial activity and the port of Bejaia. The study examined the weight of port infrastructure as an industrial location factor in terms of dependence on external marine supplies. The study is carried out using a questionnaire addressed to the selected companies on the basis of their dependence on maritime trade. We conclude that the industrial location in the Bejaia city is closely linked to the port with a high dependence on external supplies.
