L'évaluation et la motivation des enseignants du second degré : résultats d'une étude exploratoire

Abstract

Principaux résultats de cette recherhe exploratoire : •Nous avons une meilleure connaissance du comportement des enseignants et de leur processus motivationnel à l'égard de la pratique d'évaluation à laquelle ils sont soumis. •Pour favoriser la motivation intrinsèque, nos travaux suggèrent que l'évaluation doit être plus encadrée afin de permettre une plus grande objectivité. Cela passe par la définition de critères clairs de l'évaluation qui sont les mêmes dans toutes les disciplines. •Cette étude suggère aussi que les gestionnaires ont intérêt à mieux prendre en compte la reconnaissance à la fois monétaire et non monétaire et de les percevoir comme un levier potentiel de la motivation intrinsèque. •L'effet des perceptions du comportement des évaluateurs relevées dans cette étude paraît suffisamment important pour qu'il mérite d'être connu des chefs d'établissement et inspecteurs. Une meilleure connaissance des comportements en jeux et de leurs effets positifs ou négatifs potentiels pourrait aider les évaluateurs à réfléchir à leurs pratiques. Cela peut passer notamment par des formations à l'évaluation.
