Abstract

La présente communication porte sur les liens pouvant exister entre l'évaluation des enseignants et leur motivation. Elle essaie de comprendre quelles sont les variables de l'évaluation qui peuvent influencer la motivation de ces derniers. Cette recherche mobilise comme cadre théorique central : celui de la motivation autodéterminée de Deci et Ryan, 1985. Elle mobilise également les concepts de justice organisationnelle (Greenberg, 1987) et de motivation de service public (Perry et Wise, 1990). Nos ambitions en termes de résultats sont de comprendre les mécanismes reliant l'évaluation et la motivation des enseignants. Il s'agira de proposer un cadre de l'évaluation des enseignants que les gestionnaires peuvent mettre en pratique, fondé sur la théorie de la motivation autodéterminée, qui pourrait contribuer à la satisfaction des besoins fondamentaux des enseignants et qui, comme le prédit la théorie, augmenterait la motivation autonome, le bien être et le rendement des enseignants.
