Abstract

La mesure du revenu agricole, l'analyse de ses principaux déterminants et l'impact des politiques publiques sur son niveau et son évolution constituent des enjeux importants, aussi bien aux niveaux individuel que collectif, public que privé. Le présent article constitue l'introduction du numéro spécial qu'Économie Rurale consacre à cette thématique, qui réunit huit contributions de recherche autour de différentes problématiques liées au revenu des agriculteurs français, au partage de la valeur ajoutée au sein des filières, et à la position sociale des agriculteurs. Pour ce faire, il rappelle tout d'abord les principaux enjeux autour de la définition et de la mesure du « revenu agricole », des déterminants de la formation et de l'évolution de ce revenu, et de l'évaluation de l'impact des dispositifs de soutien et de stabilisation du revenu, puis présente succinctement les huit articles constituant le dossier.
