Abstract

The observation of our food systems shows great weaknesses and the probability of a future regression is high. These weaknesses have their origins in the shift towards a new geological era, which greatly destabilizes agriculture: the Anthropocene. This article shows why adopting environmental accounting can improve the accountability and resilience of farms to meet the food challenge of the Anthropocene.
