Abstract

Dans un article "The Minimum Wage and Inequality: The Effects of Education and Technology" publié dans le Journal of Labor Economics, en janvier 2016, Zsofia Barany – chercheuse au Département d'économie – étudie les relations entre les salaires minima et l'inégalité salariale. Elle utilise une approche originale par sa globalité, en intégrant dans son analyse des facteurs généralement considérés comme extérieurs à la problématique. Elle aboutit ainsi à des résultats inattendus qui pourraient avoir un impact sur l'élaboration des politiques publiques. (Premier paragraphe)
