Abstract

This chapter contains applications of the maldistribution and disproportionality assessment tools already presented in Chapter 31. It applies to the 2010 Electoral College and the French legislative and local elections with special attention to the 2015 electoral reform. In these applications, the order of the Lorenz curves is almost conclusive, and therefore the Gini and DK indices are aligned and complete the almost complete Lorenz-derived ranking.
