Abstract

Das Ziel der BaFin ist es, für einen stabilen und sicheren Finanzplatz zu sorgen, wobei das Aufsichtsrecht grundsätzlich technolo­gieneutral ist. Blockchain ist aber nicht bloß eine technologische Weiterentwick­lung, sondern berührt auch Geschäfts- und Organisationsprozesse. Dies gilt für einzelne Unternehmen und über die Grenzen von Organisationen hinaus. Durch den Einsatz der Blockchain-Technologie könnten sich Systeme und Prozesse beaufsichtigter Un­ternehmen tiefgreifend verändern.
