Fait religieux au travail : Vers une structuration d'un objet d'étude en GRH ? De la spécificité du contexte français

Abstract

Cet article est la première synthèse critique des travaux francophones concernant le fait religieux au travail en contexte français, dans la recherche en gestion. La littérature est peu abondante et les chercheurs travaillant sur la question sont encore peu nombreux. Notre travail consiste en une revue systématique de la littérature qui permet de faire émerger sept axes de recherche en management : le management du fait religieux, l'origine religieuse des pratiques de gestion actuelles, développer l'entreprise sur la base de préceptes religieux, l'inspiration religieuse des leaders, l'essence religieuse de la démarche d'entreprenariat, l'approche religieuse de la stratégie marketing et l'éthique religieuse dans la finance. Par ailleurs, il met en avant une certaine prédominance de la religion musulmane dans les recherches de l'axe « management du fait religieux », qui est celui qui suscite le plus l'attention des chercheurs. Enfin, il permet de positionner les recherches sur un continuum contrainte/ressource concernant la manière dont elles considèrent le fait religieux. Notre travail s'achève sur un programme de recherche en trois temps qui comprend un ancrage disciplinaire en GRH appelé par la pratique et permis par la maturité du sujet ; un recours à d'autres méthodologies et une focale sur les besoins des praticiens ; et enfin une ouverture du débat sur la réflexivité des chercheurs, et une réflexion sur l'impact des travaux publiés sur l'objet passé sous examen.
