Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on world economies, and the negative effects on business will be long-lasting. Perhaps one of the most significant aspects of the health crisis is the discover of the fragility of globalized supply chains, which has not escaped policymakers, with the disruption of many supplies of materials and finished products. Will the next world celebrate the return to a certain proximity, with more regionalized supply chains?
