Abstract

L'objectif de cet article est d'explorer la face cachée d'une communauté de pratique technologique (CPT) par l'analyse détaillée de sa dynamique de fonctionnement au sein d'une direction des systèmes d'information. Les résultats de cette recherche montrent que la CPT est une ressource dans la construction de stratégies locales des chefs de projets internet. Elle favorise l'apprentissage individuel et collectif leur permettant de faire face aux ambiguïtés de leurs activités quotidiennes. En contrepartie, elle génère également des tensions en son sein et au sein de l'organisation. Par la prise en compte de la dimension politique dans l'analyse, nous écartons toute vision idyllique sur les CP et soulignons les facteurs structurants permettant de les cultiver en milieu fortement technologique.
