As Práticas Científicas em um Laboratório de Biotecnologia: Uma Discussão sob a Ótica da Teoria Ator-Rede

Abstract

Este estudo teve como objetivo descrever as controvérsias que influíram na composição de uma rede de atores, refletindo sobre o organizar das práticas em um laboratório científico de biotecnologia. Tendo como base os pressupostos metodológicos da Teoria Ator Rede, a pesquisa adotou a abordagem histórica a partir de uma postura etnográfica. As histórias do laboratório relacionadas às controvérsias imbuídas nas práticas da concepção, patenteamento e comercialização, possibilitaram a formação da rede de atores em suas translações entre os campos científicos, econômico e político. As considerações finais enfatizaram a influência da liderança da cientista no modo de organizar das práticas científicas.
