Abstract

À partir de la narration d'événements singuliers survenus lors d'une recherche au Tchad sur l'hydraulique pastorale, et d'une argumentation plus générale sur les interventions de projets en Afrique, ce texte étudie la mobilisation et l'instrumentalisation de la recherche en sciences sociales par l'aide publique. Il propose de réfléchir aux conditions indispensables à une production scientifique sur le développement, compte tenu des procédures et des caractéristiques du système d'aide actuel.
