Abstract

Gunnar Myrdal a consacré dans tous ses travaux une importante place aux questions méthodologiques. Son approche est fréquemment critiquée pour son relativisme. Or, une confrontation de son approche avec la méthodologie wébérienne montre que Myrdal n'abandonnait pas toute recherche d'objectivité à la condition que certaines conditions préalables à l'investigation scientifique soient respectées. Cet article effectue ainsi un rapprochement entre l'entreprise wébérienne reposant sur la distinction entre la « neutralité axiologique » et le « rapport aux valeurs » et celle menée par Myrdal.
