Abstract

On 15 November 2019, Valérie Charolles was the keynote speaker at a symposium organized by the University of Insurance on the theme, "Data : a (r)evolution for insurance?" For this sector, where big data has changed some horizons, but which has been working with data for a long time, this first keynote sought to provide a philosophical perspective on current developments in information processing.
