Abstract

Le marché des produits laitiers a récemment été propulsé sur le devant de la scène mondiale avec le scandale du lait contaminé distribué sous la marque Lactalis. Malgré ce récent scandale, la filière laitière est prospère et dopée par une demande mondiale toujours en hausse : + 2.5% par an. Face aux grands groupes, les structures de taille moyenne doivent mettre en place des partenariats ou envisager des stratégies à l'échelle mondiale pour capter et satisfaire les besoins toujours grandissants des populations. Dorénavant, la quasi-totalité des coopératives laitières ont déployé une part de leur activité à l'international. Certaines d'entre elles, à l'instar de la coopérative Isigny-Sainte mère, n'hésitent pas à s'allier à des géants étrangers chinois pour gagner en parts de marché.
