Abstract

Un des éléments reconnus de la culture stratégique africaine est son recours à des procédés hybrides, combinant méthodes de gestion formelles, souvent importées et pratiques locales. A travers cinq cas de conflits collectifs du travail dans le secteur privé au Burkina Faso, l'article analyse les modes de résolution des conflits et l'articulation qui y paraît entre recours au droit du travail officiel et pratiques "informelles" de discussion ou de médiation. Elle en tire des enseignements du point de vue du mode de management africain et des apprentissages que les acteurs sociaux devraient entreprendre pour faciliter une résolution plus efficace de ces conflits.
