Abstract

Par-delà la crise sanitaire actuelle, l'industrie du tourisme est un secteur en pleine mutation. La crise actuelle doit être une opportunité pour construire un nouveau modèle pour l'industrie du tourisme mondiale et remettre en cause la logique simplement quantitative. Le défi principal pour les destinations est de devenir suffisamment robustes pour supporter les perturbations et suffisamment flexibles pour se rétablir ou se redévelopper/réinventer, ce qui contribue à leur résilience. Cela implique une perspective plus adaptée à l'évolution, en considérant et en gérant les destinations touristiques comme des systèmes adaptatifs complexes. Cette contribution est organisée en trois parties. La première partie, explique en quoi la résilience peut améliorer le tourisme. La seconde étudie les implications de la mise en pratique des théories sur la résilience. Enfin, la troisième analyse le concept de gouvernance résiliente des destinations.
