Abstract

The question of the positive or negative, or even neutral, relations of the globalisation process has raised many questions among economists, who, in the end, but not surprisingly, have presented heterogeneous and contradictory analyses. While recent economic history has clearly shown that internationalisation does not eradicate wars, the internationalisation of the production of values is likely to create interdependencies that initially reduce the spaces of conflict. On the other hand, growing inequalities, policies of predation of wealth through tax evasion or power relations (hardpower and softpower) have not disappeared in a new digitalized world where powers are concentrated in an increasingly limited number of states, themselves threatened by plutocracy.
