Abstract

The myths' power plays a major tacit role within organisations, and eventually acts against global management widespread theoretical "culture free" models. Same phenomenon affects the Technology Centred for the design of successful adapted formulas for firms. As an example, this article proposes an interpretation of the SECI's model of the Japanese Nonaka & Takeushi from the Chinese yin yang symbol. The weight of tacit dimension in the Japanese society echoes in the SECI. A way to learn the cultural bias consists in taking into account the"strategic thinking", myths and iconic figures that inspire as a mirror, and "rules", societies. As a conclusion, the article focusses on the Myth of Astérix from the GallicVillage to stress strengths and weaknesses of KM within French firms.
