Abstract

Dal XVII secolo, il Canal du Midi ha conosciuto conflitti d'uso e paesaggistici molto diverso. Attualmente, la Voies Navigables de France (VNF) come popolazione residenti e turisti devono affrontare una grave crisi paesaggistica e ambientale. La scomparsa dei platani centenari a causa del fungo e dell'epidemia di cancro colorato è inevitabile. Questa crisi sta sconvolgendo i livelli di informazione e percezione di a area turistica di primaria importanza per la Francia con un elenco del patrimonio Patrimonio dell'umanità dell'UNESCO nel 1996. Gli alberi sono un indicatore di un'identità paesaggistica e rappresentazioni turistiche molto forti. Basato su ricerche archivistiche inedite su sull'evoluzione del paesaggio e le azioni degli stakeholder, insieme a un'indagine sul campo tra 2008 e 2013 sul comportamento dei turisti e degli escursionisti, i nostri risultati lo dimostrano l'azione per la tutela e la conservazione di questo paesaggio fa parte di una rinnovata alleanza tra turismo di massa e turismo responsabile, stanno diventando interdipendenti. Il comunicazione ed educazione ambientale al grande pubblico sul grado di natura di questo sito fanno anche parte di un'azione di sviluppo resiliente e sostenibile, il ambivalenza nel comportamento degli utenti nella loro visione di un sito turistico ibrido sono osservati.
