Dynamisation d’une activité culturelle régionale à caractère identitaire : l’exemple des choeurs basques

Abstract

Alors même que le sentiment régional est souvent exploité à des fins commerciales, l'objectif de notre article est d'analyser une activité culturelle régionale – comme il en existe dans toutes les régions – pour mieux la dynamiser. Les chœurs basques constituent un spectacle vivant à caractère identitaire fort, car Histoire, langue et religion ont permis le développement d'un art populaire vivace. Notre recherche de terrain, qui associe entretiens et observation participante, nous permet d'induire une représentation sociale partagée structurée autour des dimensions de la langue, de la musique et de la temporalité. En discussion finale, nous proposons des actions de dynamisation et une généralisation de la démarche à d'autres spectacles vivants identitaires.
