Abstract

Cet article a pour objet d'analyser les nouveaux rapports entretenus entre l'industrie culturelle, plus précisément les entreprises du secteur musical, et les sous-cultures juvéniles. A partir du cas symptomatique de l'Electrodance et en s'appuyant sur les travaux issus des Cultural Studies, deux grandes questions marketing sont abordées : Comment constituer une offre, dans un secteur musical élargi, s'intégrant dans l'ensemble stylistique d'une sous-culture ? Quels sont les acteurs du secteur (anciens et nouveaux) qui influencent le cycle de vie stylistique d'une sous-culture?
