Abstract

« Le temps c'est de l'argent », comme le dit l'expression populaire. Fort de ce principe, le néolibéralisme en offre aujourd'hui une traduction très concrète en incitant nos sociétés à partir à la conquête marchande de la nuit. S'il est vrai que les journées ne comptent que vingt-quatre heures et que le temps diurne est limité pour l'activité productive, la nuit reste le moment le plus profitable pour le repos et le sommeil. Les impératifs de la croissance et du développement incitent pourtant à considérer la nuit comme un moment qui peut être avantageusement dédié à la production et à la stimulation de la consommation.
