Le vin de cépage : une innovation tautologique ?

Abstract

Depuis quelque temps, il est fré- quemment question dans la presse du succès des vins de cépage. Ceux-ci sont généralement présen- tés comme une forme d'innovation pour la filière française. Cependant, si l'expression « vin de cépage » revient fréquemment et semble très à la mode, sa définition n'est jamais précisée, de même qu'il n'est jamais expliqué ce qui fait la spécificité de cette nouvelle catégorie, ou en quoi le fait d'en faire est innovant. Par- tant du constat que cette expression pourrait avoir comme synonyme « vin de raisin », nous cherchons à déterminer ici la raison d'être de ce qui semble constituer a priori un truisme plutôt qu'une innovation...
