Abstract

Russia's strategy regarding Ukraine seems to be built on the basis of Sun Tzu's thinking. It has been quick, not very visible at the beginning, skillful in using the weaknesses and mistakes of the opponent, with a maximum retention of information, to give itself time (especially that of the referendum). This operation won the support of the Russian people and the apparent indifference of powerful Allies (China, India). Opponents were presented with a fait accompli and unable to act. Only the positive result counts.
