Abstract

Le Groupe SOS a été créé en France par Jean-Marc Borello il y a plus de 30 ans et fait aujourd'hui figure de leader européen de l'économie sociale et solidaire (ESS). Son objectif est de « lutter contre les exclusions sous toutes leurs formes » et son métier est de « changer le monde ».C'est pourquoi l'innovation sociale revêt une dimension centrale qui se retrouve aussi bien dans le mode d'organisation, que dans sa gouvernance et son modèle économique.Comment le groupe SOS a-t-il pu créer une telle dynamique de croissance tout en conciliant des objectifs généralement considérés comme difficilement conciliables : une logique de rentabilité économique et un modèle d'innovation sociale intégrant des services d'excellence pour tous, y compris aux plus démunis?
