Abstract

Depuis quelques années, le management international est une préoccupation majeure dans la recherche en management en Afrique. Cette thématique nouvelle se développe autour de deux principaux axes : d'une part, les impacts de la recherche en management international sur les pratiques de management en Afrique ; d'autre part, les apports de l'Afrique à l'évolution de la recherche en management international. Dans cette dynamique, l'Afrique est effectivement engagée dans la création de la connaissance en management ; et particulièrement en management international. Ce numéro thématique propose d'enrichir les débats suivant quatre perspectives : les spécificités des pratiques managériales internationales en contextes africains ; les stratégies des acteurs et les styles managériaux des firmes internationales en Afrique ; le management en contextes africains vu comme une opportunité pour le renouvellement du management international ; le management international en Afrique et les enjeux de développement de l'Afrique. Ces perspectives constituent l'ossature des programmes de recherche en management international en Afrique et pour l'Afrique.
